Agrivoltaics is the integration of photovoltaic (PV) panels or other solar technology with agriculture, such as using PV panels to generate electricity while also providing shade for crops or livestock. BIPV, or building-integrated photovoltaics, refers to the integration of PV technology into the construction or renovation of buildings to generate electricity. Both agrivoltaics and BIPV can help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the use of renewable energy.
The European Commission’s Green Deal is a set of initiatives aimed at making the European Union’s (EU) economy more sustainable and climate-friendly. One aspect of the Green Deal is the promotion of renewable energy sources, such as solar power, to help the EU reach its goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050. United States and Canada both follow similar initiatives and goals e.g. via the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) in the U.S.

We had over 200 customers stopping by and asking for equipment for #printedelectronics, flexible organic photovoltaics from #OET in Greece and on our new green hydrogen and fuel cell tech solutions.
It was great to work with the OE-A team and kudos to Klaus and Maria for their support #oeamember.
The OE-A pavilion at CES is one of the best ideas we ever had, it provides visibility for the exhibiting OEA members at CES which is important to get customers interested in #printedelectronics.
We have seen so many new and disruptive technologies which will need our #coating, #printing and #laminatingequipment and will be very busy to follow up.
And we already cannot wait to be at CES2024.
