Coatema designs and manufactures the equipment our customers’ needs.
Coatema designs and produces laboratory, pilot, and full scale production machinery for coating, printing and laminating. For laboratory and pilot plants, Coatema has developed a platform strategy that aims to develop lab2fab systems based on high technical standards that can then be adjusted to precise needs through customer-specific modifications. In comparison to one-off special machinery, we use tried-and-tested standard components which will still be available as spare parts decades later. This enables us to future proof your investments by ensuring forward compatibility and allowing newly developed technologies to be added to customers’ equipment via simple upgrades to existing machinery.
This means that each machine is a special customer-specific solution but is based on existing technology platforms such as the Test Solution, Smartcoater or Click&CoatTM platform.
Each machine is a special design that arises from agreements and joint development with the customer.
From individual units to complete turnkey plants, we offer systems for continuous or intermittent operation for all formats from DIN A4 (210x297mm or 8.3”x11.7”) to working widths of 3,000 mm (118”) or more.
Some of our projects include cutting edge innovation and development of entirely new manufacturing processes and equipment – technology that has never been manufactured before – publicly, privately, or PPP funded.
